Baby on Horsey!

Today, Mommy, Daddy, the girls, and Grandma & Grandpa M. went to the train and ponies in Griffith Park. This was the first time Nicolette rode on the ponies on the track that are not hooked or tied to anything! She was so brave and LOVED it! It was so cute! When I was getting the video ready to put on here, I noticed some men in the background of the video pointing at her, obviously amazed such a little (& absolutely adorable) baby was riding one of the ponies by herself. When she finished her first turn, she started signing "more" and "please," so, obviously, she had another turn.

This year, we celebrated Thanksgiving with cousins Piper and Andrew, Uncle Dave and Aunt Jen, & Auntie Becca and Will. Grandma and Grandpa M. also came down to be with us and went to Pasadena with us. Nicolette starting doing more walking while we were there. Very exciting!

Preschool Turkey Day and Drumming

Gabrielle has been very busy at school! On Thursday, they had "Turkey Day." All of the classes made part of the traditional Thanksgiving meal. Gabrielle's class made the cornbread. The whole school came together to have the meal and the parents (& Nicolette, who was in the carrier on Mommy) did the serving. Here is a video of the grace they did before the meal. They sang a song called "Johnny Appleseed." Noa, the little girl sitting next to her, was actually in Gabrielle's MOMS Club play group from the time Gabrielle was six weeks old until Noa's family moved a little farther away. Now, they are in the same class.

On Friday, the school had a special drumming event that they have occasionally. Gabrielle doesn't normally go to school on Fridays, but when there are special events, all the kids are welcome. Nicolette thoroughly enjoyed herself as well. Here is Gabrielle dancing with her new friend Sienna, as well as Nicolette dancing:

Our Brave Baby Girl

As Grandpa M. says, this little girl is a wild (in a fun way) girl! She is going to be calling Grandpa up when she's older to race cars! No fear here! Notice she doesn't take me up on my offer of a hand to hold!

This video was taken at the park after a very fun birthday party for the girls' friend Amelia. A circus party with fun games, cake pops, popcorn, and lots of kid fun. Amelia even got a turtle for her birthday from her Aunt and all the kids loved looking at it (our girls had fun petting it!).

Big Steps

Tonight, our baby took her first steps in front of all of us. Everyone was so excited!

Trick or Treat! Video Fun

For Halloween, we headed to Grandma and Grandpa M.'s. Last year, Nicolette fell asleep in the stroller while trick-or-treating. This year........she didn't want to skip any houses (just like Gabrielle at the same age! And, let's be honest, Big Sissy still wants to hit all the houses!)! At one house, they give away full sized candy bars. Nicolette got TWO and proceeded to sit down and try to open one. Smart girl! The girls ended up with 3.5 pounds each (I guess it helps when you are the cutest Meerkat and Tiger!)!
