We had a very busy and fun weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. On Friday, they got to come and watch gymnastics, on Saturday we all went out to dinner to celebrate Mommy's birthday, Grandma and Grandpa's anniversary, and Auntie Kathleen and Uncle Chad's anniversary, and on Sunday, we went to Disneyland!

San Diego Wild Animal Park Videos

For Mommy's birthday, we went to San Diego. On Sunday, we went to the Wild Animal Park (the San Diego Zoo Safari Park). Both girls had fun feeding the lorikeets.

Happy Epiphany and Gymnastics!

Happy Epiphany!

We started the day with our first class of gymnastics. Awhile ago, Gabrielle said that she never took tumbling before. Mommy reminded her that she took it when she was 2, to which she replied that she was little then and couldn't do big girl tumbling and she wanted to take tumbling now. So, both girls are signed up for eight weeks at a gym in Culver City. Nicolette is in the Mommy and Me class and Gabrielle is in the big kid class.
You just can't get any cuter than these girls!

Checking out our neighbor's Christmas tree. She is from Germany and has been giving the girls little German gifts on the last couple holidays. (If you are asking if Gabrielle is still wearing her leotard and is now adorned with a veil...the answer is yes...that is how we do it around here! At different times, the veil is different things, sometimes a wedding veil and sometimes it is to be Mary, Jesus's Mother, at which time Nicolette is her Baby Jesus.)

Bonus...Last night, Gabrielle was asking Nicolette to say "Beanie" (a nickname for Nicolette) and was thrilled with the response she got ("BAneenee"). Gabrielle is always giving words to Nicolette for her to say. Tonight, Gabrielle was telling Daddy about how Nicolette says Beanie and said that Nicolette is learning to say these cute little words and that Nicolette has a smart brain...we couldn't agree more!
