I really like carousels now and talk about how the horses go "up and down." Here I am on the carousel at the beach in Santa Barbara. When we drove by it and Mommy mentioned that we were driving by a carousel, I insisted that we stop and take a ride....actually "Two!" rides. I love the number 2! (2/5)

This weekend I decided that although I do enjoy when Mommy and Daddy share their ice cream with me, I really like to have my own cone! (2/15)

My friend Cady and I went down to Olvera Street today to celebrate Fat Tuesday/Mardis Gras. (a history lesson about the site of Olvera Street from the city of Los Angeles website: "El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument is near the site of the early Los Angeles pueblo or town where forty-four settlers of Native American, African and European heritage journeyed more than one-thousand miles across the desert from present-day northern Mexico and established a farming community in September 1781. Since that time, Los Angeles has been under the flags of Spain, Mexico and the United States and has grown into one of the world’s largest metropolitan areas.") We had fun watching the dancers and musicians and having some yummy Mexican food. I really like bean and cheese burritos! I also got some cute Mexican sandals there that you can see in the picture. A Fun Dancing Video

I went with Mommy to a class on Tuesday at a parish in Torrance and I was soooo patient! I colored, played with stickers, and ate next to Mommy during the 3-hour class. After the class, Mommy got a Bible book with fun activities in it for me and a neat video with songs. Here I am enjoying one of the songs this morning and following along to the actions:

Our Little Chef

I love to cook! I am always helping Mommy and Daddy in the kitchen. I've made cookie dough for the storytime librarians for Christmas, sweet potato heart biscuits to take with dinner for my friend who just had a baby sister, and lots of things for our meals at home. I also like helping Grandpa cook when he is here or when we are at Grandma and Grandpa's.

My friend Ashley got a fun little kitchen for Christmas and I thought it was really neat. Mommy has been keeping her eye on Craigslist and, guess what, she found it! We picked it up this morning, I helped Mommy clean it up, and I went straight to cooking (Mommy loves that I make a cute "shhhh" sound when I sprinkle in the ingredients):
